Ballet Injuries

Ballet dancing places great demands for control, balance, and strength on the human body.  Because of these demands those who take this activity seriously are at greater risk of injury to the ankles, legs, knees, hips and back.

Many ballet injuries can be eliminated or reduced by improving the alignment of the foot.  Until now it has been difficult to find a solution that was both flexible, light and thin enough to fit in a ballet slipper and still give the support  needed to make a significant difference.

We have found that the proper functioning of the foot is enhanced by, not only supporting the arch, but by gently rotating the forefoot so the arch does not come under excessive pressure. Our Dance Orthotics are very flexible.

This discovery lead to the development of our unique line of full-foot orthotics.
